Image of the shrine of Saint Valentine in Whitefriars Church, Dublin
Saint Valentine (226-269CE) is the patron saint of love. Initially buried in Rome, his remains were transferred to Whitefriars Church in Dublin in the 19th century. Pilgrims from around the world visit the church around the 14th of February every year, seeking comfort and blessings from Saint Valentine. Join DCU Chaplaincy on a guided tour to the church and the shrine of Saint Valentine. Price includes a donation to the friars and the price of lunch at the world famous Leo Burdock's fish and chip shop, just a few hundred metres away.
