DCU Future Tech building on course to break ground this October

Dublin City University’s Future Tech building moved a step closer to breaking ground this week.

The initial phase of enabling works were completed during February and March which involved completing the electrical and mechanical infrastructure connections to the Future Tech site.

It is planned that construction will be commencing in October this year. The building is located by the main entrance on Collins Avenue.

The Future Tech building is a 10,000m² facility is a project that will further advance DCU’s international reputation for excellence in science, computing and engineering disciplines. It will have the capacity to accommodate over 3,000 additional STEM students on the university’s Glasnevin campus. It will also house DCU’s entire School of Health & Human Performance.
