Skillnet Courses

Ireland is home to a growing number of tech companies and is the EMEA headquarters for many of the world’s leading tech firms. There is a growing need for highly qualified and competent engineers to work in these organisations.

DCU Computing, in conjunction with Skillnet Ireland, have developed two innovative, part-funded Master’s programmes in the areas of AI and Blockchain to meet this need.

 

MSc in Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one the fastest and most exciting areas in ICT and it has the potential to positively transform all aspects of our lives, from Autonomous Vehicles to improved healthcare services.

There is strong demand for graduates with the highly specialised multi-disciplinary skills that are required in AI, both as practitioners and as researchers. This MSc in Computing (Artificial Intelligence) is designed to meet this training need, by providing a balanced programme of instruction across a range of relevant disciplines.

MSc in Blockchain

Blockchain is a rapidly growing technology with the potential to disrupt traditional practices across a wide range of industries. The lack of technical Blockchain skills is of national and international concern as it is a significant inhibitor to Blockchain adoption in companies across key industries including manufacturing, health and the finance sector.
