Continued global success for Computer Science at DCU in the QS World Rankings by Subject

Computer Science at DCU continues to perform well as it advances position in the QS World University Rankings by Subject announced today

The QS World University Rankings by Subject announced today (Wednesday, 22nd March 2023) that Computer Science at DCU has been ranked in the top 201 - 250 courses globally.

Computer Science at DCU continues to perform well as it moves from being ranked in the top 250 - 300 courses globally in 2022 to 201 - 250 in 2023 by the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

Speaking about the results, Professor Martin Crane, Head of the School of Computing said: 

"As Head of School I very much welcome these latest figures which mark a continuation of the improvement in our Subject Level Rankings in Computer Science.  I see the figures as a testament to the hard work put in by all members of staff in the School."

 

The QS World University Rankings rank 1549 universities worldwide by subject areas and subjects, measuring the quality of a university’s teaching and research using criteria such as academic reputation, employer reputation, the number of citations of research papers and also the H-index, a measure of the depth and breadth of a university’s research in specific subject areas.

 The 2023 ranking has been the largest, featuring more than 15,700 different academic programmes.
