History of Science, Technology and Medicine Network Ireland Annual Conference 11th and 12th November 2016
The History of Science, Technology and Medicine Network Ireland is holding its annual conference in association with the Celsius research group at St. Patrick's Campus, DCU on the 11th and 12th November 2016.
Papers from a wide array of Irish and International speakers will address STM in history, literature and society. Professor Peter Bowler will give a keynote entitled 'Prophets of progress? Predicting the future of science and technology from H.G. Wells to Isaac Asimov' and Dr Maja Horst will give a keynote on 'What is the social responsibility of science?'
