Booking a course
Before applying for a course, please consider what you want to achieve and how you will apply skills acquired to your every day job. We recommend discussing this with your line manager and/or Head of School/Unit.
Courses are booked through Core by following the instructions on each course description web page.
Participants selected to attend a course will be notified by e-mail.
Selection Criteria
The selection of applicants for courses may be based on some or all of these criteria:
- order in which registrations are approved by head of unit or manager
- your reasons for participating
- how well the outcomes align with the skillset required in your current role
- what training you have attended previously
- how well the learning and skills from the course will be applied and supported in the workplace (as evidenced by you and your manager)
- balance of schools/units, grades and gender on each course
