Undergraduate Graduations

On the 22nd February, DCU held the first in-person graduations in over two years. The School of Mathematical Sciences had 38 ACM and 17 FIM students graduating.

At the School's local prize-giving ceremony, we recognised the fantastic achievements of Ronan Smith and Emmet Lawless, who were the best performing final year students on our BSc in Actuarial Mathematics and BSc in Financial Mathematics programmes, respectively. Huge thanks to the Society of Actuaries in Ireland for sponsoring the prize for best performing student on the BSc in Actuarial Mathematics.

During the ceremony, Caoimhe Murphy, representing the School of Mathematical Sciences alumni, gave a lovely and inspiring speech to our latest graduates.

Best of luck to all Class of 2021 graduates. We look forward to meeting the Class of 2020 graduates at the DCU Graduation in June.
