Teaching Award winner and nominees
Huge congratulations to Martin Venker of Mathematical Sciences, who was awarded the President's Award for Teaching Excellence in the New Lecturer category in DCU today. In his nomination, students commented on how Martin "goes above and beyond in his teaching and lectures" and how "his engagement to facilitate the learning of students is consistent and second to none".

Congratulations also to Paul Razafimandimby, Kwok Chuen Wong (Ryan), John Appleby and Lucy Deacon, who were nominated in the New Lecturer (Paul), Overall Award (Ryan and John) and Teaching Support (Lucy) categories. Students spoke highly of all the nominees in terms of their student-centred approach to teaching and learning, their clear and comprehensive explanations, and their extremely high teaching standards.
