Academic biography

Abraham Harte received a B.S. degree in physics from Caltech and a Ph.D. in physics from the Pennsylvania State University. After postdoctoral work at the University of Chicago and at the Albert Einstein Institute in Germany, he moved to DCU as an assistant professor in mathematical sciences.

Research interests

General relativity and gravitational physics: Theory of motion (self-force and extended-body effects), wave propagation in curved spacetimes, gravitational lensing, gravitational waves
