Academic biography

Vladimir Krylov is an Assistant Professor in Statistics in the School of Mathematical Sciences since 2019. He graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2007 and completed his PhD in Statistics in 2011, both at Moscow State University. After that he has been postdoctoral fellow at INRIA Sophia Antipolis (France), UCL (UK), University of Genoa (Italy). In 2017-2019 he has been a Marie Curie research fellow at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). Since 2020 Dr. Krylov has been Associate Editor with IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. His research interests span statistical modeling and machine learning as applied to computer vision and signal processing problems.
