Concluding remarks

The purpose of scheduling is not to put extra pressure on you; conversely, a good schedule will free you from the scholastic inefficiency and anxiety that is, at least partially, a function of wasted time, inadequate planning and hasty, last-minute study. Remember that the way we use time (or waste it) is largely a matter of habit patterns. Therefore if you can get into the habit of preparing well-organised time schedules while in university it will stand to you throughout your life. A time-schedule is one of the best techniques for developing more efficient habits of time use.

End of unit: Action

Based on the goals and prioritised task list that you developed in the last unit, 'Planning: setting goals and prioritising', prepare a time-schedule. You can use one of the appended scehdules, or design your own if preferred.
