Power BI has been deployed across DCU to enable reporting and data analysis. QIO provides managerial and aggregated reports through Power BI to provide insights and to inform decision making across DCU. The below resources have been compiled to provide support to Power BI users.

How to get a Power BI license?

How can I share my dashboard to other staff?
We recommend you create an app to share your dashboards in Power BI. In Power BI you can create one app per workspace. You can create an app by navigating to your workspace, and clicking create app (found in the top right hand corner of the page). Within the create app setting you can choose your setup, content and audience.
For your dashboards to be viewable by other staff who do not have a Power BI license you must have a workspace that is set to Premium Capacity. A diamond icon should be present alongside the name of your workspace if this is setup already. Please contact us if you require this setup.

How can I export data from a Power BI dashboard?
You can download summarised data from most Power BI dashboards by clicking on the three dots on the right of any table in Power BI. Please note we never allow raw data to be exported out of our dashboards.
