Quality enhancement scheme 2003-2004

Project Report Guidelines

For all projects supported under the Quality Enhancement Scheme there is a requirement for ongoing reporting of project status to the QPO. As a minimum, this will involve a final report, submitted within three weeks of the conclusion of the project.

All such reports are made available to the wider DCU community via the QPO website.

This document provides some brief guidelines for the content of such reports:

In general, project reports should include:

  • a short account of the activities that were undertaken as part of the project
  • a statement about the extent to which the project has achieved its stated goals
  • a statement about the outcomes of the evaluation and dissemination processes engaged in as part of the project
  • an indication as to the transferrability of the project outcomes to other activities or other areas of the university
  • any activities planned but not yet completed as part of the project, or as a future initiative directly resulting from the proect
  • any problems that have arisen that may be useful to document for future reference
  • a sumary of the breakdown of the total expenditure
