Dublin City University celebrates resilient performance in Times Higher Education Subject Rankings 2025, marking significant gains and new entries.
Arts & Humanities (201-250), Physical Sciences (501-600) and Social Sciences (126-150) all saw an increase in their rank.
Education Studies ranks for the first time placing 151-175 globally, and Psychology ranks in the world's top 200.

QS Subject Rankings
DCU continued to excel in the 2026 QS Subject Rankings. More than 1,900 Universities were ranked for the 2026 edition and DCU have 8 subjects achieving a top 200 spot globally.
Communication, English, and Nursing at DCU are all considered within the Top 200 of these courses offered worldwide with Accounting & Finance, Education, Linguistics, Modern Languages, and Sport achieving a world Top 150 rank.
These rankings reflect DCU's commitment to excellence in research and education across a diverse range of disciplines. The QS Subject Rankings are produced by analysing the reputation and research output of over 6,273 institutions worldwide.
