Programme Orientation: BEST

In addition to the general orientation offered to all students, the DCU Business School and the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies organise an activity-based orientation programme – the BEST programme – for First Year students. Students participate in group and small team activities.

University Welcome

Your official welcome to DCU will introduce you to both the Student Support and Development team (SS&D) and the Students' Union (SU). You'll discover the academic and personal support systems available, as well as opportunities to get involved in campus life, including Clubs and Societies, becoming a Class Rep, and volunteering.

Programme Orientation (Transversal Skills Session)

This session will introduce DCU's transversal skills to students and train them in how to use our unique MySkills platform to get a competitive advantage.
