University Welcome

Your official welcome to DCU will introduce you to both the Student Support and Development team (SS&D) and the Students' Union (SU). You'll discover the academic and personal support systems available, as well as opportunities to get involved in campus life, including Clubs and Societies, becoming a Class Rep, and volunteering.

Programme Orientation

Programme Orientation is an important session where you’ll meet with academic staff, lecturers and tutors. You’ll meet your programme chairperson, your fellow students, find out about the structure of the programme and other programme-specific information. 

Programme Orientation (Transversal Skills Session)

This session will introduce DCU's transversal skills to students and train them in how to use our unique MySkills platform to get a competitive advantage.

Peer Mentoring & Campus Tours

Meet your peer mentor and take a guided tour of the campus. Your mentor, a current student, will help you navigate your first few weeks at DCU. The tour will help you get familiar with key buildings, important student services, and campus resources.
