Welcome to the Career Thinking Survey for students on the Mentorship Programme. This survey is an opportunity for you to self -evaluate your level of career thinking at this juncture in your studies. It helps us understand the needs of students and how best we in the Careers Service can engage and support you during this very interesting time in your career.
Career thinking is defined as:
Ability for students to reflect, identify and articulate one’s skills, strengths, interests, knowledge, and experiences relevant to the position desired and career goals, and identify areas necessary for personal and professional growth.
The individual is able to navigate and explore job options.
The individual can take the steps necessary to pursue opportunities and understands how to self-advocate for opportunities in the workplace.
The Careers Readiness Survey has been adapted from the Careers Registration Survey developed by the University of Leeds.
