Digital Tools To Build Your Career

The Careers Service Team has compiled a wide range of online resources and tools to help you prepare to launch your career:

• CV Pathway and AI CV Checker: Read more here about our new AI CV Checker CareerSet and access our newly developed CV Pathway on Our MyCareer platform which contains everything you need to build a strong CV.
• Careers on Loop: Go to the Careers Section on Loop to access a wide range of digital booklets and other resources on topics such as CVs, Preparing For Interviews, Assessment Centres, Further Study and much more.
• Profiling for Success: Access a range of online assessments (career and psychometric assessments), which allow you to practise psychometric tests or complete assessments on aspects such as your values, personality, career interests to support your career development.
• Jobs Board: Log-in to MyCareer.dcu.ie to browse a wide range of opportunities offered by SMEs, National and Global Companies. You will need your DCU Student email, username and password to access the system.
• GoinGlobal: Click here if you are investigating opportunities outside of Ireland. As a DCU student / graduate you have access to the GoinGlobal website. This site provides country-specific career and employment information and other useful resources for over 30 countries.
• Podcasts: Listen to Career Conversations, our podcast series available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and on our website.
