DCU Career Mentorship Programme

Calling Second Year Undergraduate Students

Looking for career guidance, real‑world insight, and personalised advice on your future direction? Want to boost your confidence, build your employability, and get support from someone who’s already been where you are?

Don’t miss the chance to be mentored by a graduate from the DCU Alumni Community. Apply for this year’s Career Mentorship Programme and take a proactive step towards shaping your future career.

The Career Mentoring Programme supports your career and professional development by pairing you with a DCU graduate who will mentor you over six months during your second year. Your mentor will help you explore career paths, understand different occupations and industries, and — where possible — take part in a work shadow day for real‑world insight.

The programme runs from October 2026 to April 2027, giving you valuable experience, guidance, and support as you begin shaping your future career and exploring options with your degree.

How to Apply
  • Complete the online self‑directed mentoring course by Wednesday 30th September. (The online course link will be provided.)
  • Once you finish the online course, the application form will automatically become available to you.
  • Complete and submit the form by Sunday 4th October.
