We expect all applicants to be fully committed once allocated a mentor to allow for the best experience, so please be prepared to commit the time to the Mentorship Programme.

Tips for Application Form

• Take time to think about your profile before submitting the form. This is important for matching you with the most suitable Mentor
• Think about how you intend to use the experience of mentoring to move your career ideas forward.
• Be specific in what areas you are keen to have a mentor from and try to focus on those career areas.
• Make it clear what you hope to achieve out of the Mentorship Programme

Data Protection Notice
The Careers Service will use the personal data you provide, by way of this form, for the purpose of the 2023-2024 Mentorship Programme. The personal data will be retained for up to one year after which it will be deleted/destroyed in a secure manner. The information provided by you may be used for research purposes by DCU Careers Service in order to improve future offerings of the Mentorship Programme and the DCU Career Services provision to students. The information will not be used in a manner which would allow identification of you or of your individual responses. 

Please note that by submitting the Application Form, you are consenting for some of the information in the Application Form to be made available via Loop to the mentors who have signed up to the Programme.  The mentors (graduates from DCU Alumni Community) review the Application Forms to select their respective mentee (student).  If you wish to obtain further information about data protection in DCU please review our Data Privacy Policy which is available at the link here.
