The Careers Service is here to help you explore your options, prepare for the workplace, and set you on the path to career success. Our dedicated team works closely with students and industry partners to help you develop the skills you need to thrive in today’s dynamic job market. We focus on helping you acquire, articulate, and apply essential career management skills, ensuring you are well-prepared to succeed during and beyond your time at DCU.

We're Here for Everyone

A common misconception is that the Careers Service is only for students who know exactly what they want to do. Let's clear that up: we’re here for all students, whether you're still figuring out what you want to do, have some ideas, or already have a clear plan. We're here to support you, no matter where you are in your career thinking.

Our Service Provides

• Online resources and tools to help you prepare for your Career through the “Autumn 2024 Careers Service” Loop tile.

• Career skills sessions on topics such as Career Planning, CVs, Interview Skills, and Further Study.

• Careers events with employers, such as the upcoming Graduate Careers Fairs.

• 1-2-1 appointments with Career Consultants that you can book through MyCareer.dcu.ie

• An online jobs board with opportunities targeted at DCU students.

Our main office is on the ground floor of the Henry Grattan Building, Glasnevin Campus, room CG26 and we also have an office on St. Patrick's Campus. 

**Please note that students may have limited access to MyCareer.dcu.ie until the 23rd September due to a new system integration. We will notify everyone when full access is restored.
