Referring a Student

Our individual career guidance and coaching empowers students to develop the self awareness that is necessary to make informed next step decisions and help them long term with career planning. Our work helps students develop their confidence and sense of agency and can involve; exploring career/further study options, action planning, career goal setting and managing the transition to the workplace.

A student could be referred to the Careers Service for assistance when they are:

• Unsure if they are on the right course
• Withdrawing from their course and exploring next steps
• Enquiring about options with their degree
• Weighing up the benefit of doing an INTRA/ summer internship
• Considering postgraduate study, funding options etc
• Job searching/seeking graduate/experienced hire employment
• Seeking help with CV, Application Forms, LinkedIn, Interview or Personal Statement
• Exploring alternative graduate options outside their degree discipline
