Easing Low Mood

Ways to lighten and ease the experience of low mood with Ruan Kennedy, Senior Counsellor. This is a free, two part workshop series. This gives you simple techniques to understand and ease the weight of low mood at thinking, feeling and body level.

Workshop two builds on the first but is not essential to attend both.

Easing Stress & Anxiety

Come along to this free one hour workshop (series of 2) with Ruan Kennedy, Senior Counsellor, that focuses on how to to identify and modify stress patterns. These workshops teach you ways of identifying and responding differently to stress and anxiety. It will help you change patterns of thinking, feeling and the body state that goes with stress and anxiety.

Koru Mindfulness training is  specifically designed for the 3rd level student. This is an in person session of a small group of 12 with Barrie Mc Entee, Counsellor.

Koru Mindfulness is an introductory class that will teach you the skill of mindfulness. It will also help you build the habit of using it in your life on a regular basis. You get a lot more out of Koru if you stick with it from beginning to end, therefore attendance at all sessions is required.

Working with the Inner Critic

A free one hour workshop with Ruan Kennedy, Senior Counsellor, on ways to identify and observe this part of the self. This workshop will help you step back when this part gets triggered.  This can give you more flexibility regarding how to respond and perceive difficult experiences. You will also practise how to use the body to change your inner state and so loosen the grip of the critic.
