DCU Lunchtime Concerts

3 musicians playing - one plays piano, one plays double bass and one plays drums

DCU Lunchtime Concert Series take place on St. Patrick’s campus each Wednesday during term time. The series is presented by the School of Theology, Philosophy and Music. It is a feast for the senses, featuring incredible talent here at DCU, both staff and students as well as renowned guest artists. Expect Jazz, Traditional, Contemporary, Classical music and more.

 

These concerts are open to the public. No booking necessary.

7th February - The Oars: Eoin Coughlan [vocals / guitar] & Brian Morrissey [banjo / bodhrán / whistle / percussion] 

14th February - Síle Denvir [vocals / harp] & Barry Kerr [uilleann pipes / flute] 

6th March - BAJCMP ensembles curated by Ronan Guilfoyle

20th March - DCU Lumen Chorale and guests, conductor Róisín Blunnie

27th March - BAJH Music Groups, curated by Róisín Nic Athlaoich 

* 3rd April - DCU Music Society Choir, conductor John O'Flynn

10th April - Orpheus Down by Ian Wilson: Gareth Davis [bass clarinet] & Dario Calderone [double bass]
