Academic Calendar

DCU's academic calendar consists of two semesters and an august resit period.

Academic year 2022 to 2023

Semester 1 teaching starts on September 12th and finishes on December 3rd 2022.

Reading week: October 24th to 30th 2022 (for faculties with this option).

The exam study and examination period is from December 4th to 22nd.

Reading week: February 27th to March 5th 2023

Semester 2 teaching starts on January 16th and finishes on April 15th 2023.

The exam study and examination period is from April17th to May 6th 2023.
