UNESCO Chair visits Japan

DCU's UNESCO Chair on Tackling Bullying in Schools and Cyberspace, Prof. James O'Higgins Norman, was recently invited to Japan to deliver an address to the Japanese National Bullying Project and to meet with government officials and academics working to tackle bullying and cyberbullying in Japanese schools.

The meeting took place in Tokyo and was hosted by Naruto University of Education.

In addition to the address by the UNESCO Chair, Darran Heaney who is Project Manager at DCU National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre delivered a workshop on the FUSE Anti-Bullying and Online Safety programme which is based at the Centre.
