I'm delighted and honoured to become Adjunct Professor at DCU School of Arts Education and Movement, the latest intersection of my working life with this always dynamic institution. Many's the course, concert, lecture, workshop, meeting in St Pat's/DCU that has peppered my career in the arts and education field and I look forward to many more such events in the years ahead!
Una McCabe, Head of the School of Arts, Education and Movement, spoke about the opportunities of the Adjunct Professor role:
Martin brings a profound depth of experience to this role and will serve as an invaluable mentor to our aspiring educators, offering both inspiration and guidance as they develop the skills and tools necessary to uphold every child’s fundamental right to engage with art and culture as an essential part of their learning and personal development.
