GUESSS is a global student survey project focussing on trends in entrepreneurship. The project produces academic and practitioner reports exploring unique and novel insights on the topic of student entrepreneurship. Key topics include: entrepreneurial intentions, family business succession, new venture growth and performance. Factors at multiple levels of analysis are included: individual, family, university and contextual. GUESSS outputs are relevant to multiple stakeholders such as: students, researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and universities.

The survey collects data from as many countries as possible every 2–3 years. Via a centrally managed online survey, with validated and up-to-date measurement instruments, cross-country comparisons and within-country analyses are possible. Moreover, the survey identifies students who answer the survey across different data collection waves, enabling longitudinal analysis.
