Martina Brophy

Martina Brophy was formerly a research assistant and research student at the NCFB from 2014 until 2020. In 2020, she completed her MPhil thesis entitled: "The gendered identity work of women leaders in family business" under the supervision of NCFB Director Dr. Eric Clinton and Prof. Maura McAdam. 

Her research interests include minority entrepreneurship, Family Business and SMEs. She has published in the International Small Business Journal, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development and the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her work has been presented at conferences including the Irish Academy of Management Conference, the DIANA International Conference and the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference. She is currently a researcher and lecturer in the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, College of Business at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).
