DCU Artwork Raffle for Barretstown Children's Charity February 2021.

By entering the DCU Barretstown Children’s Charity Art Raffle February 2021, you will be submitting personal data to us, the Communications Unit of Dublin City University (DCU). Personal data that you submit to DCU to enter this Raffle, via the DCU online payment portal, will be used only in conjunction with your purchasing your ticket and entry into the art raffle in February 2021. 

Your information will be used to enter into the raffle draw only. We require at a minimum the following data to ensure we identify the correct winner at the time of the draw:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Contact number

To enable us to process raffle tickets / donations, we will collect basic payment information as well as your name, home address and email address. These data fields are required for the processing of payments.

 

Use of your Data

Overview of why we need your data
By entering the DCU Barretstown Childrens’ Charity February 2021 art raffle you will be required to provide DCU with certain personal data. This is necessary to ensure we identify the correct winner at the time of the raffle draw. DCU and Barretstown are Joint Data Controllers, (hereinafter The Promoter) data will be held for a maximum period of 6 months so that in the event of a legal challenge, the support data is available.  Data will not be shared with any other Data Controller and will not be processed for any other purpose or event. Comprehensive data security measures are in place to protect personal data.

Data collected for this Raffle will be used exclusively for this Raffle and no other Raffle or purpose or intent of any kind. 

To enable us to process raffle tickets / donations, we will collect basic payment information as well as your name, home address and email address. Your name and the amount you’ve donated will not be displayed on any public page.

Your personal data will only be used for the purposes outlined above and for no other reason.
 

You can request that your information be withdrawn at any time by submitting a request in writing to Audrey.grant@dcu.ie. Please note that this may result in forfeiture of your entry into this raffle.

Participants  understand that, by entering this Raffle, their  information will be used for the purpose of the DCU Barretstown Children’s Charity Artwork Raffle February 2021 only, as outlined above.

Participants may, at any time, request that their information may exercise their right to withdraw from this Raffleby writing to Audrey.grant@dcu.ie. Participants understand that in doing so, they will forfeit their entry into this raffle.
