Online Lunchtime Course with

Helena Ahern, 

Head of the Counselling and Personal Development Service, DCU                                                                  

Mindfulness practice has shown itself to be effective in a number of areas, for example: Concentration, Motivation, Productivity, Stress, Anxiety, Personal  Well-Being etc 
This 4 week lunchtime  programme introduces the central principles and practices of this approach. It aims to increase one’s awareness to be more present,to regulate stress levels, while supporting  wiser choices, decisions and actions.

New workshops will be added for the first Semester for the Academic Year of 2021/2022

The Counselling and Personal Development Workshops for Semester 2 will be confirmed at the start of the New Academic Year.

Session 1  Living more in the Present 
Session 2 Mindfulness of the Worried Mind 
Session 3 Mindfulness in a Challenging Situation
Session 4 Self Care and Gratitude-Core resources to Resilience.

 

Open to:  All DCU Students & Staff    

Time:  All sessions in the series will take place online from 1.00pm – 2.00pm

For a richer learning experience:  Attend all 4 sessions, each session builds on the previous one.     

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who attend all 4 sessions.
