Postgraduate Students
Postgraduate students with a disability are encouraged to sign up with the DLSS to avail of supports while studying at DCU.
If you feel you will require supports while undertaking your PG programme please email disability.service@dcu.ie to arrange an appointment with your Disability Officer, attaching the relevant evidence to support your diagnosis.
While we do ask for updated evidence confirming your diagnosis, as a PG student we can accept evidence from your UG college confirming your diagnosis and supports.
When you attend your appointment with your Disability Officer a Needs Assessment will be completed to identify your supports/ reasonable accommodations.
The DLSS can provide you with a number of Assistive Technologies which can make researching, writing and drafting your thesis more accessible.
In addition the Graduate Studies Office organises a broad range of non-accredited workshops and events to support research student skills development
Support is also available from the Student Advice & Learning Skills Centre
