Aim of this course

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of:

• the DCU Selection Process
• preparing a job vacancy advertisement and identifying selection criteria
• the potentially damaging impact of Unconscious Bias during the selection process
• how to prepare for and conduct a quality interview
• using effective questioning techniques
• making evidence based decisions
• where to access further information on Equality and Freedom of Information legislation relevant to the selection process.
