This event is designed for less experienced mentors who have signed up to the DCU Staff Mentoring programme but all are welcome

In this workshop we will examine the role of a mentor in a staff mentoring context.

This will involve a consideration of the roles played by both the mentor and the mentee as well as the mentoring relationship itself in the wider DCU context.

This session will encourage reflection upon your own preferences as a mentor, and help you to map out your own preferences as a mentor.

In practical terms, we will look at the different forms of mentoring, approaches to the mentoring journey, as well as mentor styles.

There will be knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer collaboration in this session.
Mentors who complete this training will be added to the the DCU Staff Mentor list on the Learning and Organisational Development page
