This event is designed for less experienced mentors who have signed up to the DCU Staff Mentoring programme but all are welcome
  • In this workshop we will examine the role of a mentor in a staff mentoring context.
  • This will involve a consideration of the roles played by both the mentor and the mentee as well as the mentoring relationship itself in the wider DCU context.
  • This session will encourage reflection upon your own preferences as a mentor, and help you to map out your own preferences as a mentor.
  • In practical terms, we will look at the different forms of mentoring, approaches to the mentoring journey, as well as mentor styles.
  • There will be knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer collaboration in this session.
