Faculty of Science and Health Postgraduate Research Accommodation Scholarship 2026/27
The Faculty of Science and Health is pleased to announce that one accommodation scholarship is to be awarded to a first-year postgraduate research student to live in DCU accommodation for the academic year 2026/27. If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please complete the application form below. Scholarships will be awarded based on outstanding undergraduate achievement and overall merit, and are open only to students who will be commencing the first year of their PhD studies at DCU in September/October 2026.
Applications will be reviewed by the Associate Dean for Research and the Executive Dean. The deadline for receipt of applications is 12:00 noon on Friday, 15th May 2026. Terms and Conditions for this award are listed at the end of this form.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on the following:
- Level of undergraduate degree, including ranking within cohort
- Quality and impact of final year project work
- Contribution to the social environment of the undergraduate institution
- Evidence of excellence or innovation in research or education
- Relevant work experience including INTRA
- Acquisition and dissemination of advanced skills
- Contribution to the development of peer group or alma mater
- The anticipated benefit of the accommodation scholarship to the applicant’s research in support of the applicant in their pursuit of their research degree
