DCU Alumni Emerging Leaders Programme

The DCU Alumni Emerging Leaders Programme aims to inspire the next generation of leaders from our Alumni community through a schedule of innovative professional development and network opportunities.

Who Can Apply? 

Alumni Relations at DCU are seeking emerging graduate leaders who:

  • Have high potential for future development
  • Are advanced enough in their career to bring strong experience to the table in relation to their own functional area
  • Are seeking the development opportunity to move to the next level of their career

The Emerging Leaders Programme will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Develop your leadership skills
  • Network with our international partner institutions
  • Take part in a psychometric assessment with a Chartered Work and Organisational Psychologist
  • Become involved in mentorship
  • Attend University events
  • Volunteer through DCU initiatives for further skill development

Monthly Coffee Morning Sessions - Specific Leadership Themes, via Zoom (First Friday of each month commencing in November)

International Networking Opportunity (Partner Institution 1)

Psychometric assessment with a Chartered Work and Organisational Psychologist

Alumni Award Speaker and Leadership Discussion

International Networking Opportunity (Partner Institution 2)

Peer Mentoring and Individual Coaching Sessions

As part of the programme, participants will be invited to high level University events throughout the year.

 

Programme Cost: 

This is non-profit engagement programme designed to assist our graduates in developing and enhancing their leadership skills.

Participants are invited to donate a contribution of €250 to offset the cost of professional development tools and programme materials. We encourage graduates to discuss this opportunity with their employer who may be in a position to sponsor their participation on the Emerging Leaders Programme.
