DCU Alumni Among Success at National Senior Indoor Championships

Nine DCU graduates made the podium across a wide variety of events this month at the Irish Life National Senior Indoor Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Abbottstown.

The medallists included two recent Tokyo Olympians, Sophie Becker, who won silver in the 400m, and Cillín Greene, who won a National Title in the 400m.

Brian Gregan won a bronze medal in the 400m. Saragh Buggy equaled her Championship record in the Triple Jump. In the sprint hurdles, Matthew Behan and Lily-Ann O'Hora made the podium. Kate Veale was victorious in the 3000m walk. Joseph Ojewumi finished 2nd in the Men's 60m. Finally in the High Jump, Kourosh Foroughi finished joint 3rd.
