All Hallows Alumni Summer Gathering

DCU Alumni office supported the All Hallows Alumni Network (AHAN) Summer Gathering 2023 held recently on the Drumcondra campus. Taking place on Jubilee day, when the All Hallows Past Men return to celebrate their respective Jubilees, the event marked the merging of two groups of All Hallows alumni – people who attended the Missionary College (1840-1998) and alumni from the third level institution (1998-2016).

The gathering was coordinated by Danielle Kerins, Chairperson of the AHAN and key members of the All Hallows Association of Past Men (AHA).

Alumni were welcomed by Danielle, who spoke about the shared legacy across the third level graduates and missionary college alumni community, and Hubert O’ Reilly who talked about the history of the College and the All Hallows Association.

Guests also listened to an alumni panel discussion where Clare Cassells, Áine Ní Shúilleabháin and Niamh O Flaherty shared memories and anecdotes about their studies and the impact All Hallows had on their lives.

After the Jubliee Mass, the guests enjoyed a meal in the campus restaurant to continue the celebrations into the evening.

Daniel said she was thrilled the event went so well and that all the alumni could see the campus still dedicated to educational leadership. “We look forward to future projects with the All Hallows Trust, The AHA and DCU Alumni Relations going forward,” she said.

DCU Alumni Relations thanks Danielle for her dedication to this event.
