Advance HE Fellowship
Advance HE Fellowship demonstrates a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education.
Across four categories, from Associate to Principal, Fellowship provides individuals with recognition of their practice, impact and leadership of teaching and learning. Information on Advance HE, the categories, and application requirements are available here or view the infographic below.
DCU is committed to recognising teaching excellence through Advance HE. During 2020, DCU saw ten staff achieving the status of Senior Fellows and six as Associate Fellows, with another eight Senior Fellowship applications in progress.
DCU applicants can embark on a supported Fellowship journey annually each January or June. This includes workshops, work in progress sessions, peer review, and a private online space for discussion with exemplars and other resources. This supported programme to scaffold applications is offered by the Teaching Enhancement Unit and Advance HE Senior Fellows.
