LIU offers Lecturers working in Higher Education in Ireland Two Online Modules

DCU, in conjunction with the Dublin Region Higher Education Alliance (DRHEA), has developed two 5 credit, level 9, - online modules – DCAD Online Teaching (LI501) and DCAD Assessment and Feedback Online (LI502). These modules have run since May 2011 with academic staff from across the DRHEA. The Learning Innovation Team at Dublin City University is delighted to offer the two modules to academic staff across the wider Irish higher education sector.
Both modules will commence in October 2012 and are now open for registration. The modules are suitable for those who teach in any discipline in higher education and who are committed to the provision of online and/or technology-enhanced learning in their future teaching and assessment practices. The modules will be delivered online via the DRHEA Virtual Learning Environment (VLE - Moodle). To complement delivery two face-to-face sessions will be offered in Dublin City University.
