Loop Reflect Awards 2025

The Loop Reflect Awards celebrate outstanding student achievements through the innovative use of the Loop Reflect learning portfolio. This annual event shines a spotlight on exemplary student work, demonstrating how ePortfolios can powerfully showcase academic achievements, personal growth, and professional readiness. Students bring their learning journeys to life through rich storytelling and carefully selected artefacts, presenting their accomplishments in ways that are both creative and impactful.

A panel of expert judges evaluates submissions based on the following key criteria:

  • Demonstration of Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
How effectively does the portfolio present relevant evidence and arguments to showcase the student’s capabilities?
  • Depth of Reflection
To what extent does the student critically reflect on their learning experiences, challenges, and growth?
  • Design and Originality
How creatively and thoughtfully is the portfolio designed? Does it reflect a unique voice and perspective?

“In my third year at university, I have become well-versed in using Loop Reflect as a tool to track my academic journey and personal growth. This e-portfolio assignment, with its weekly reflections, not only deepened my engagement with academic material but also pushed me to explore my identity and my skill-set. I’m proud of this work because it vividly captures my experience of the module. The Possibility Studies course was especially engaging, and using Loop Reflect enriched my understanding, sparking further insights along the way.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed using Loop Reflect to creatively display the content for this assignment. I managed to go beyond the features offered by Loop Reflect by creating visual assets in Canva and inserting them as image blocks on my Portfolio. This helped me separate the sections of my assignment in an engaging and aesthetic way. Overall I loved creating this Reflection page.”

“This was my first time using Loop Reflect and I really enjoyed it. I had such an enjoyable experience as it was on a topic I love, irish dance and irish music, because of this I could add in videos of myself doing both of these things. I hope you enjoy!”

“Using Loop Reflect to create this page/collection was a structured and interactive experience. The platform facilitated easy integration of background research, multimedia, and key terminologies, enhancing the clarity of our work. The ability to embed videos and external links streamlined information sharing. Collaboration was seamless, allowing group members to contribute insights effectively. However, formatting and navigation had minor challenges, requiring extra time for alignment. Overall, Loop Reflect provided a user-friendly interface for compiling research, but improvements in content organization features could enhance efficiency further.”
