DCU Open Research
DCU actively supports and facilitates researchers to practice Open Research, primarily through the Library and the Research Office. Here we provide a range of resources on Open Research and ways to embed it in your research activities and outputs .
Workshops
The Library provides regular workshops to staff and students on different aspects of Open Research. We also are happy to visit Schools and Research Centres for more customised sessions.

Navigating Open Research
CONUL, the Consortium of National and University Libraries in Ireland, has produced a new guide to Open Research, designed to guide researchers at each stage of the research process. The guide is targeted at early career researchers in Ireland but is a useful resource for those at all levels.

RURM (Responsible Use of Research Metrics) Training Module
The Responsible Use of Research Metrics (RURM) module is a self-paced open educational resource that explores the principles and best practices for applying research metrics fairly and transparently, recognising that no single metric tells the whole story. It is intended to be used by researchers and evaluators, as well as those involved in recruitment, research assessment, promotion decisions and anyone contributing to the broader research ecosystem.
